Three months gone, TikTok‘s STEM feed is in practice. STEM was launched in March 2023 as a way to give users a more focused way to explore STEM content available on the TikTok platform.

Where we can find this STEM FEED option?
The STEM feed is located alongside the app’s “Following” and “For You” feeds, and it can be opened by tapping on the “STEM” icon at the top of the screen.
According to new data given by the TikTok app, viewership of science-oriented content has increased by more than 30% on STEM-related hashtags. A survey showed that 96% of these 30% shows eager satisfaction with this news feed. Two of the TikTok partners, Common Sense Networks and Poynter, have access to all the content to assess before it is published, only to ensure that the STEM feed remains a valued experience. “Common Sense Networks evaluates the content for appropriateness, while Poynter evaluates the reliability of the information presented.
